DENTON, Texas – The #25 Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M took a 22-8 lead after one quarter of play and never looked back as they used a balanced attack to race past the Pioneers of Texas Woman's. 74-38 on Saturday afternoon during Lone Star Conference action in front of over 300 fans at Kitty Magee Arena in Denton.

- West Texas A&M was led offensively by
Tiana Parker as the junior went 7-of-8 from the floor including 1-of-3 from the free throw line to lead all players with 15 points followed by
Lexy Hightower with 10,
Cece Wooten grabbed eight rebounds on the afternoon to go along with two blocks.
- Bri'anna Gray and KJ Stastny scored nine points each to lead the way for the Pioneers followed by Alexis Nezianya with eight to go along with eight rebounds in the loss.
FIRST HALF:
- The Lady Buffs went 15-of-29 (51.7%) from the floor in the first half including 5-of-8 (62.5%) from behind the arc and 5-of-7 (71.4%) from the free throw line with 24 rebounds (six offensive, 18 defensive), 11 assists, six turnovers, four blocks and five steals.
- TWU finished the first half going 6-of-29 (20.7%) from the floor including 0-of-5 from deep and 2-of-4 (50%) from the charity stripe with 15 rebounds (six offensive, nine defensive), no assists, eight turnovers, no blocks and three steals.
SECOND HALF:
- WT finished the game going 26-of-53 (49.1%) from the field including 7-of-15 (46.7%) from deep and 15-of-20 (75%) from the charity stripe with 46 rebounds (14 offensive, 32 defensive), 16 assists, 15 turnovers, five blocks and eight steals in the win.
- The Pioneers went 14-of-54 (25.9%) from the floor in the game including 3-of-13 (23.1%) from behind the arc and 7-of-12 (58.3%) from the free throw line with 26 rebounds (10 offensive, 16 defensive), two assists, 14 turnovers, no blocks and seven steals on the afternoon.
