SILVER CITY, New Mexico – The West Texas A&M Lady Buffs hit the road for Lone Star Conference action on Tuesday night as they left Silver City, New Mexico with a four set win over the Western New Mexico Mustangs at Drag's Court.

The Lady Buffs registered 54 kills on 155 attempts with 24 errors to hit .213 on the night with 51 assists, one service ace, 75 digs and 11 blocks. WT was led offensively by
Sydnee Johnson with a career-high 18 kills 38 swings with six errors to hit .316 followed by
Taylor Kress with 13 kills,
Selena Batiste dished out 29 assists followed by
Gabby Emery with 20 while
Chandler Vogel led the way defensively with 31 digs in the win.

Western New Mexico finished the match with 52 kills on 169 swings with 28 attack errors to hit .142 as a team with 49 assists, four aces, 70 digs and five blocks. WNMU was led by Bria Ausustine with 12 kills on 38 attempts with six errors to hit .158 on the night followed by Maggie Roe with 10 kills, Madelynn Culp dished out a team-high 22 assists while Gabi Lau led the Mustangs with 22 digs.
