CANYON, Texas – The Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M finished the night on a 11-1 run as they swept past the rival Mustangs of MSU Texas in Lone Star Conference action at the WTAMU Fieldhouse "The Box" on Friday night in Canyon.

The Lady Buffs registered 49 kills on 126 attempts with 19 errors to hit .238 with 46 assists, four service aces, 62 digs and four blocks. WT was led offensively by
Sydnee Johnson with 15 kills on 39 swings with four errors to hit ,282 on the night followed
Selena Batiste with 14 kills, 18 assists and 12 digs for her fifth career triple-double.
Taylor Kress finished the night with 15 kills to lead the Lady Buffs followed by
Chandler Vogel with 13.

MSU Texas finished the match with 28 kills on 117 swings with 20 attack errors to hit .068 as a team with 27 assists, two aces, 46 digs and seven blocks in the loss. MSU was led by Lauren Honeycutt with eight kills on 15 attempts with no errors to hit .533 on the night, Sarah Glawe dished out a match-high 24 digs while Samantha Manio and Addy Cook registered 10 digs each to lead the Mustangs.
