DENTON, Texas – The West Texas A&M Lady Buffs battled thru another five-set Lone Star Conference matchup for the second time in under 24 hours as they came out on the winning end on Saturday afternoon in Denton against Texas Woman's at Kitty Magee Arena.

The Lady Buffs registered 50 kills on 183 attempts with 15 errors to hit .191 with 47 assists, eight service aces, 79 digs and seven blocks. WT was led offensively by Sydnee Johnson and Lindsey Smith with 11 kills each followed by Gia Petties with eight, Selena Batiste dished out 25 assists to go along with 13 digs for a double-double while Chandler Vogel led the way defensively with 23 digs in the win.
 
Texas Woman's finished the match with 66 kills on 183 swings with 25 attack errors to hit .224 as a team with 64 assists, seven aces, 96 digs and four blocks. TWU was led by Elizabeth Ugbaja with 20 kills on 48 attempts with five errors to hit .312 on the afternoon followed by Maggie Pyles with 18 kills, Kate Ranes dished out a match-high 57 assists while Bailey French led all players with 39 digs.
