#15 Lady Buffs Roll Past UT Permian Basin, 7-0, for 10th Straight Win

ODESSA, Texas –Six different Lady Buffs scored as #15 West Texas A&M won their 10th straight game for the first time since 2002 with a 7-0 victory over UT Permian Basin on Friday night in Odessa, Texas. It is their largest margin of victory for WT since defeating the Falcons 7-0 on Sept. 2, 2011.

The Lady Buffs scored their first of five first half goals in the 5th minute when Samantha Silvestre got on the end of loose ball on the left side of the box. Shanelle Arjoon would double the visitor's advantage in the 33rd minute on a shot from the middle of the box that went through the keepers legs. It was 3-0 two minutes later when Jessica Diaz connected with Hannah Kelley-Lusk for a breakaway goal.

Diaz would get her own goal in the 41st minute after finding space down the left side before beating the keeper at the near post. Kelley-Lusk scored her second of the game in the 43rd minute on another through ball up the middle with Calista Cordero recording the assist.

Cordero scored her third of the season to get things started for the Lady Buffs in the second half. The sophomore put a foot on Kelley-Lusk's cross to the far post in the 54th minute to make it 6-0. Khaline Jacob would score WT's final goal of the evening in the 75th minute. The junior's strike was her 10th of the season making her the first Lady Buff to reach double figures in goals since Leslie Briggs scored 19 in 2012.

Courtney Dippel was credited with two saves giving her 305 for her career, one short of Yvette Bedoy's program record of 306. She also picked up her sixth shutout of the season in the win.
