CANYON, Texas – The #17 Buffaloes of West Texas A&M ran their win streak to four matches on Saturday afternoon as they scored four goals in the second half to roll past the Patriots of Dallas Baptist at The Pitch in Canyon.

The Buffs got on the board in the 17
th minute as
Lucca Lima send in a ball to the box from 35 yards out as
Callum Challinor headed his 10
th goal of the season to the lower right corner of the net for the early 1-0 lead. It marks the first time in a decade that the Buffs had a pair of double-digit goal scorers.

WT added to their lead in the 24
th minute as
Michael Garcia found the back of the net off of a rebound to make it 2-0. The Buffs added to their lead in the 65
th minute as the Patriots registered an own goal followed by a
Liam Doyle rebound score in the 72
nd minute from Vargas to make it 4-0.

The Buffs weren't done yet as
Ivan Ulloa added to the lead with a chip shot from just outside the net off of a corner kick followed under three minutes later by Vargas with his 12
th goal of the season to extend the WT lead to 6-0.
Colin Burgiel picked up the win in goal for the Buffs, facing just one shot on the afternoon to move to 4-1-1 on the season.
