CANYON, Texas – The #17 Buffaloes of West Texas A&M finished the night with 16 shots on a cold and rainy night at The Pitch in Canyon as the lone goal in the 70^th minute gave WT their third straight victory in a 1-0 win over the visiting Hilltoppers of St. Edward's in Heartland Conference action.

The Buffs got on the board in the 70^th minute as Stefan Andjelic send a cross to the top of the box as Callum Challinor chested the ball to Louise Gueye who finished from 15 yards out to the lower left corner of the net for the 1-0 lead and the junior's first career goal.
 
Alexander Vencel was solid in goal again for the Buffs as the reigning United Soccer Coaches Division II National Player of the Week registered four saves on six shots faced with four of them coming on goal to move to 8-1-1 on the season. SEU's William Tuffin registered nine saves on 16 shots in the loss.
