CANYON, Texas – The Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M moved to a perfect 35-0 all-time against rival Midwestern State on Friday afternoon as WT hit .243 as a team in a sweep of the Mustangs in front of over 350 fans at the WTAMU Fieldhouse "The Box" in Canyon in a Highway 287 Challenge showdown to even the series at 1-1.

- The Lady Buffs hit .243 as a team with 41 kills on 107 swings with 15 attack errors to go along with 39 assists, two service aces, 47 digs and three total blocks.
- Midwestern State registered 36 kills on 111 swings with 19 attack errors to hit .153 on the afternoon with 33 assists, four service aces, 42 digs and four total blocks in the loss.
- Sophomore
Taylor Kress led the way offensively for the Lady Buffs with a match-high 14 kills on 24 swings with two attack errors to hit .500 on the afternoon.
Selena Batiste led all players with 32 assists to go along with nine digs to nearly miss a double-double while
Chandler Vogel led WT defensively with 16 digs.
