Lady Buffs Sweep Past Western New Mexico on Senior Night in Canyon

CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M ended their 2017 home schedule on a high note on Tuesday night as they swept past the Mustangs of Western New Mexico in Lone Star Conference action on Senior Night at the WTAMU Fieldhouse "The Box" in Canyon, Texas.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Lady Buffs hit .267 as a team with 45 kills on 116 swings with 14 attack errors to go along with 44 assists, four service aces, 61 digs and 11.5 total blocks in the win.
- Western New Mexico registered 35 kills on 130 attempts with 21 attack errors to hit .108 on the night with 34 assists, a service ace, 51 digs and four blocks in the loss.
- Freshman Erin Clark led the Lady Buffs offensively with 10 kills on 28 swings with three attack errors to hit .250 on the night. Selena Batiste led all players with 27 assists and 11 digs for a double-double while Chandler Vogel led all players with 23 digs followed by Clark with 11 for a double-double.
