WICHITA FALLS, Texas – The Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M rebounded from an early afternoon loss as they swept past the Jets of Newman in South Central Regional action at D.L. Ligon Coliseum in Wichita Falls, Texas on Friday afternoon.

- The Lady Buffs hit .302 on the afternoon with 49 kills on 129 swings with 10 attack errors with 47 assists, four service aces, 58 digs and four total blocks in the win.
- Newman registered 33 kills on 114 swings with 17 attack errors to hit .140 on the afternoon with 32 assists, two service aces, 55 digs and two blocks in the loss.
- Senior Kamille Jones led the Lady Buffs with 11 kills on 29 swings with just one attack error to hit .345 in the win, Selena Batiste dished out 30 assists on the afternoon followed by Gabby Emery with 14 assists and 10 digs for a double-double while Chandler Vogel led the way defensively with 15 digs.
