WICHITA FALLS, Texas – The Midwestern State Mustangs picked up their first victory over West Texas A&M in program history on Friday afternoon at D.L. Ligon Coliseum in Wichita Falls as the Lady Buffs fell in straight sets during Lone Star Conference action.

- The Lady Buffs hit just .082 as a team with 34 kills on 122 swings with 24 attack errors to go along with 32 assists, three service aces, 49 digs and three total blocks on the afternoon.
- Midwestern State registered 36 kills on 114 swings with 16 attack errors to hit .175 with 36 assists, eight service aces, 52 digs and six total blocks in the win.
- Michaela Montgomery led the way offensively for the Lady Buffs with nine kills on 25 swings with four errors to hit .071 on the afternoon, Selena Batiste dished out a team-high 26 assists while Chandler Vogel led the Lady Buffs with 10 digs.
