  • Late in the half, WT had a breakaway in transition as sophomore Shanelle Arjoon's one-on-one shot went wide of the net and, in the 43rd minute, freshman Jessica Diaz was on the receiving end of some nice passing up field and her shot went just wide.
  • For the half, the Lady Buffs had seven shots with two on frame, while ASU had four shots and two on goal.
  • WT had another great look in a flurry of action as senior Sydney Hickerson had a shot and save followed by a corner kick and header and team save 50 minutes into the match.
  • Scott had a breakaway in transition as sophomore Samantha Silvestre dispossessed the ball from Scott at the corner of the box in what could have been a one-on-one with Dippel.
  • Diaz then had a nice shot and save, off three-straight corners by the Lady Buffs midway through the second half.
  • Avery McName had a breakaway down the far side and fired on Dippel who saved the shot and Scott put the rebound off the crossbar as Mackenzie Broderick scored on the ball off the bar for a 1-0 lead.
