CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M senior middle blocker Lexi Davis tallied a match high 16 kills to lead the #22 Lady Buffs to a four set victory over the Grizzlies of Adams State on Saturday afternoon. WT moves to 3-0 overall on the season while ASU falls to 0-3.
 
The Lady Buffs were led offensively by Lexi Davis with 16 kills followed by Cori Haley (14) and Dalaney Tuholski (12) with Tuholski registering 27 assists for a double-double. WT was led defensively by Lauren Britten with a match high 12 digs while Schulz led all players with 32 assists. The Lady Buffs hit .383 as a team with 67 kills on 133 swings to go along with 16 attack errors while registering 63 assists, 51 digs and 12 total blocks in the match.
 
The Grizzlies were led by Paitton Heltenberg with 14 kills followed by Hannah Atkinson with 12 and Alex Parker with 10. ASU was led by Maisy Munson with 23 assists to go along with nine digs while Gabrielle Timmen tallied eight assists. Adams State hit .240 as a team with 48 kills on 129 swings with 17 attack errors to go along with 46 assists, 41 digs and nine total blocks.
