CANYON, Texas – The Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M improved to .500 on the season on Saturday afternoon as they started fast in a four set win over the Cameron Aggies (25-15, 25-18, 21-25, 25-18) in front of over 500 fans at the WTAMU Fieldhouse "The Box" in Canyon. The Lady Buffs move to 10-10 (3-6 LSC) on the season while Cameron drops their fifth straight match to fall to 13-5 (4-5 LSC).
 
The Lady Buffs were led offensively by Curl with 17 kills on 38 swings with just two attack errors to hit .395 on the afternoon while Haley registered 15 kills on 43 swings, Jackson guided the WT offense with a match high 49 assists while Britten tied a match high with 15 digs. WT hit .324 as a team with 57 kills on 139 swings with just 12 attack errors to go along with 54 assists, three service aces, 65 digs and 11 total blocks.
 
Cameron was led by Evans with 16 kills on 35 swings with five attack errors to hit .314 on the afternoon while Allen (14) and Gillean (11) tallied double-digit kills, Luckenbill dished out a team high 39 assists to go along with 11 digs for the double-double while Seabourn tied a match high with 15 digs. The Aggies hit .157 as a team with 52 kills on 153 attempts with 28 attack errors to go along with 49 assists, three service aces, 59 digs and just three blocks in the match.

The Lady Buffs returns to action on Tuesday night as they host perennial NAIA powerhouse Wayland Baptist with first serve set for 7 p.m. at the WTAMU Fieldhouse in Canyon.
