Ewald comes to Canyon from St. Louis Park High School in Hopkins, Minnesota. The 5’9 setter led the Orioles to the Minnesota 3A Section Semifinals as a senior, she was a three-time Metro West Conference award winner while starting on varsity for four seasons. Ewald is the all-time assists leader at St. Louis Park High School while holding the most assists in a single season for the Orioles.
