Biography

WT Career: Higgins tallied 95 points, 102 rebounds, and has dished out 71 assists. Has played in 74 games and 6 starts as a Lady buff. During the 2011-12 season Higgins made 17 three-pointers. 

2012-2013: Had six starts in 29 appearances as a junior.  Averaged 1.4 points and 1.8 rebounds.  Went 10 of 34 from the field and 1 of 11 from beyond the arc.  She was 20 of 28 from the line and pulled down 51 rebounds.  Higgins had 29 assists with six steals and scored 41 points.  Tallied her career-high twice with seven points against Texas Woman's and at Texas A&M-Kingsville in a span of three games. 

2011-2012: Higgins playede in 23 games as a sophomore as she averaged 1.5 points and 1.4 rebounds per game.  She went 9 of 30 from the field and 5 of 17 from beyond the arc.  She was 11 of 23 from the line, while pulling down 33 rebounds.  Higgins had 31 assists and 12 steals along with scoring 34 points.  Higgins tallied a career-high eight points at Texas A&M Commerce (Feb. 15).

2010-11: Higgins averaged 6.9 minutes a game while playing in 22 contests as a true freshman for the Lady Buffs. She averaged just under one point (0.9) and one rebound (0.8) per game in 2010-11, while collecting four steals and dishing out 11 assists. Higgins was a .222 shooter from the field and shot .625 from the charity stripe. She scored a career-high four points at home against Abilene Christian on Jan. 19, 2011, and then pulled down a career-high four boards on Feb. 5, against Texas A&M-Kingsville.

Wall High School: Higgins played point guard for head coach Jeremy Williams at Wall High School. As a senior, she helped guide her team to a 35-4 record and become Texas class 2A State finalists. She was an all-district first team selection and was named all-West Texas Co-MVP as well. She was named to the Texas Girls Coaches Association’s (TGCA) all-state team and the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) all-region and all-state team’s as well. Higgins participated in track and cross-country while attending WHS as well. She was an A-Honor Roll student and was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: The daughter of Franklin and Susan Higgins, Sally has one sibling, Seth Higgins.
