Biography

At Cabrillo College:
Shaver comes to Canyon following a two-year stint at Cabrillo College (California) where she played on the outside for the Seahawks under head coach Gabrielle Houston-Neville. While at Cabrillo, Shaver helped the Seahawks finish 2014 as the State Championship Runner-Up with a 32-2 overall record as she was named the Most Valuable Player of the State Tournament. The Seahawks have claimed the last seven Coast Conference Championships while also winning the California State Championship in 2013 with an undefeated 31-0 record. She finished the 2014 season by picking up 1st Team AVCA All-American accolades while also being named the Coast Conference MVP, leading the team with 487 kills (4.77/set) on 1,005 attempts for a hitting percentage of .341. Shaver was also involved in the first sand volleyball team at Cabrillo as the CCCAA added the sport in the spring of 2013.
 
At Harbor High School:
Shaver registered a standout prep career at Harbor HS (California) where she was an outside hitter for the Pirates under the guidance of head coach Matt Schultz. While at HHS, Shaver was named the Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League (SCCAL) Co-Player of the Year as a senior in 2012 while picking up Junior of The Year accolades in 2011. As a senior, Shaver helped the Pirates to the SCCAL Championship with an overall record of 35-7. On the club level, Shaver played for the Main Beach Volleyball Club located in Santa Cruz.
