Kamille Jones made the transition from court to bench during the 2018 campaign as the former All-Lone Star Conference selection becomes the program’s Graduate Assistant Coach.
Jones saw time in 31 matches for the Lady Buffs during her senior season in 2017, ranking third on the team with 249 kills on 744 swings to hit .216 on the season to go along with 62 digs and 32 total blocks. The Fort Worth, Texas native was honored for her efforts on the court with a spot on the All-Lone Star Conference Honorable Mention Team as the Lady Buffs made the program’s 26th appearance in the NCAA Division II Postseason with a run to the South Central Regional Finals.
Jones came to Canyon in the Fall of 2017 following three playing seasons at Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky. During her time at MSU, she helped the Racers to three-straight Ohio Valley Conference Championships and a pair of appearances in the NCAA Tournament. Jones saw time in 20 matches with a pair of starts as a junior in 2016, registering 117 kills (1.86/set) to go along with 11 digs and 13 total blocks as the Racers made a run to the First Round of the NCAA Tournament before falling at #10 UCLA in four sets.

She redshirted for the Racers in 2015 following a sophomore campaign where she appeared in 13 matches and made one start. She recorded 25 kills and hit .215 on the season with nine digs and one block assist in 18 sets played. As a freshman in 2014, Jones played in 30 matches with 24 starts. She was fifth on the team with 143 kills and fourth with a .180 attack percentage, finishing the year with 46 digs and 39 blocks.
