Previous School
Montgomery transfers to West Texas A&M from West Alabama, where she spent two years playing for the Tigers. She played in five matches her freshman season and then saw action in 25 matches her sophomore season, where she tallied 60 digs and averaged 1.00 digs per set. She posted three kills and five service aces as well.

High School
Montgomery was a three-year starter at Russellville High School and served as her team captain her senior season on the team. In her final season with the Tigers, Montgomery led the team in service aces, assists and digs. She was then named all-Area and received the Wendy’s High School Heisman Award in 2008. She holds six RHS records, which include aces in a career (183), career assists (710), career digs (562), aces in a season (81), season assists (704) and season digs (270).

Personal
The daughter of Scott and Patricia Montgomery, Cassie has one brother, Josh. She was born on Oct. 15, 1991 and is majoring in sports and exercise science.
