2012-13
Land helped the Lady Buffs on both offensively and defensively. She earned LSC All-Tournament Team with a combined 45 points and 8 steals during the conference tournament. Her assist to turnover ratio (102-65) is 3rd in the conference and (52nd nationally). Land scored her season high 25 points in the semi-finals at the conference tournament against Texas A&M-Commerce. She ranked 7th in assists (102) in the LSC, 5th in 3 pointers made (46), and 12th in steals (47). She is 19th overall in scoring (304) in LSC and 3rd on the Lady Buffs. She was 2nd on the team in minutes played, averaged 32.6 minutes per game, and is 5th in the conference. Had three games during the season where she scored 20+ points, two of which were during the conference tournament. During the season she earned .396 from the field and was first on the team from the free through line with .800. On the other side of the ball she had 47 steals and 4 blocks during the season.Â
2011-12
Played and started in all 29 games for the Lady Buffs in 2011-12. Land accumulated 796 minutes as a sophomore. Dished 84 assists and made 46 steals during the season. She was second on the team behind the arc with 26 and shot .396 from the field. Land led the team at the free-throw line, shooting .833 for the season.Â
2010-11
Land played in all 28 contests for the Lady Buffs in 2010-11, becoming a full-time starter after the first four games. Land averaged 6.7 points and 1.1 rebounds a game while running the point guard position for WT. Just a freshman, she dished out a team-high 103 assists and ranked second on the team with 41 steals. Land shot .429 from the field and led the team from behind the arc with a .349 shooting percentage. She led the team at the free-throw line as well, shooting .772 from the stripe on the season.
High School
Land played for head coach Joe Lombard at Canyon High School, where she helped lead the Eagles to a 34-2 season in 2009-10 and competed in the 4A-Regional tournament. She was named to the all-District first team her senior season and was an A/B Honor Roll Student at CHS. She was also a member of the National Honor Society.
Personal
The daughter of Brad and Angela Land, Casey has two siblings, Brett and Ryan Land. Land is majoring in education.
