Biography
2012
Jessica placed 10th at the LSC Championships in the 1500 with a season and personal best of 4:52.21. She also competed in the 3000m steeplechase finishing 6th with a time of 11:30.17.
2011
Jessica placed 12th at the LSC Championships in the 1500 posting a season and personal best of 5:09.44. She also competed in the 3000m steeplechase finishing 7th with a time of 12:46.62. Jessica posted her personal best in the 3000m steeplechase at the Texas Tech Open with a time of 12:24.39.
2010
Jessica competed in three meets for the Lady Buffs, competing in the 5K and the 3K Steeplechase. Blakely posted her best her best time of the season in the 5K at the M. Johnson Classic with a time of 19:08.78. In the 3K Steeplechase she posted the team leading time of 12:34.06 at the LSC Meet.
High School
Jessica attended Hereford High School where she ran for Coach Ray Baca. Competing in the 3200 and the 1600 meter for the Whiteface. On the Track Jessica was a three time regional qualifier; has a PR in the 3200 with a time of 11:34, and in the 1600 with a time of 5:17. Also a member of the Cross Country team where her team was the three time state champions and placing in the top 25 individually all four years at the state meet.
Personal
Daughter of Robbie and Lisa Blakely, has four siblings, James, Janet, Jeremy and Justin. Jessica is a Finance Major.
