Four-Time NCAA All-American Susan Jackson brings a wealth of experience to Canyon as the Napa Valley native enters her first season as a Volunteer Assistant for the Buffs and Lady Buffs. Jackson will work with the WT Track & Field jumpers.

Jackson is no stranger to success on the track as the Western State graduate claimed the 2012 NCAA Division II Outdoor National Championship in the high jump while earning All-American accolades four different times along with seven All-RMAC selections in the high jump, triple jump and long jump.

Jackson finished in 10th place at the 2016 Olympic Trials in the high jump as she took the 13th best jump in the country into the meet held at the University of Oregon’s Hayward Field. She was a two-time National Runner-Up in the high jump during her time as a Mountaineer. Jackson graduated from Sacramento City College as a two-time California State Community College Champion and school record holder in the high jump.

She is the fiancée of WT Offensive Coordinator Ryan McDonough and they reside in Canyon with their daughter, Piper.
