nd Team All-Lone Star Conference honors after finishing second in the 10,000-meters in a personal best time of 38:13.93. That is the fourth-fastest time in school history. She also finished 10
th in the 5,000-meters running 19:02.20. She ran a personal best time of 18:36.50 over 5,000m at the Bryan Clay Invitational. She also PR’ed in 1,500-meters at Bryan Clay where she ran 5:04.09. Won the 10,000m at the Wes Kittley Invitational in a time of 39:31.42.
2017 Indoor: Finished fourth in the 5,000-meters at the Lone Star Conference Championships with a personal best time of 19:12.22. Also competed in the 3,000-meters running 11:26.36 to finish 12
th. Ran a personal best time of 10:46.90 over 3,000m at the Crimson & Gold Invitational.
2016 Cross Country: Competed in six meets for the Lady Buffs including a top five finish at the Buffalo Stampede. She was the second finisher for the Lady Buffs at the South Central Region Championships finishing 60th overall. She finished 21
st at the Lone Star Conference Championships covering the 6k course in a personal-best time of 23:50.7. Finished fifth at the Buffalo Stampede running 23:50.9. Ran a personal-best time of 19:13.8 over 5,000-meters finishing 47
th at the MSSU Southern Stampede.

2015 Cross Country: As a sophomore, Cecchini finished the season with a trio of top 25 performances in the Buffalo Stampede (6k), NMJC Cross Country Open (5k) and LSC Championships (6k). She ran a personal-best time of 19:37.8 in the 5k at the Chile Pepper Festival placing. Â She ran a personal-best time of 23:52.7 in the 6k at the NCAA South Central Regional where she placed 91
st.
2015 Outdoor: Ran a personal best time of 5:09.18 in the 1,500-meters at the Texas Tech Outdoor Open finishing 17
th. Ran a personal best time of 2:34.97 in the 800-meters at the West Texas A&M Classic & Multi.
2015 Indoor: Finished 15
th in the 5,000-meters at the Lone Star Conference Indoor Championships running 19:57.25. She also finished 25
th in the 3,000-meters running 11:24.89 as the Lady Buffs won back-to-back team titles. She ran a personal best time of 19:53.10 in the 5k at the Texas Tech Masked Rider Open.
2014 Cross Country: As a freshman, Cecchini opened up the season with top-50 finishes in both the Joe I. Vigil Open (5K) at Adams State and the Texas Tech Open. She ran her season-best 6K time at the Wagon Wheel Dual in Canyon, placing ninth overall for the Lady Buffs at 24:47.0. Cecchini followed up by finishing 24th at the Buffalo Stampede, 36th in the LSC Championship, and 90th overall at the NCAA South Central Regional meet.
High School: Cecchini graduated from Leander High School in 2014 where she ran cross country and track & field all four years for the Lions under head coach Kevin Lawson. She led the cross country team to the regional meet as a senior and was named team MVP for two consecutive seasons. Cecchini also earned Academic All-District and Academic All-State honors with the Lions. Her PRs at Leander include 18:57 (5K), 12:22 (two mile), 5:40 (mile), 1:00 (400), and 2:37 (800). She also lettered two years in volleyball.
Personal: Daughter of Lawrence Cecchini and Lindsay Powell. Has three siblings, Christopher, Jacqueline and Tyler. Majoring in Civil Engineering at West Texas A&M.
