Biography
2009: Skehan was a force between the pipes during her first season in Canyon after transferring from Navarro JC. She registered 1733:26 minutes in goal, tallying 75 saves while giving only giving up 11 goals for a 12-3-4 record with eight shutouts. She finished the 2009 season ranked 13th overall in the NCAA Division II with a save percentage of .869 and second overall in the LSC in shutouts per game (0.44), shutouts (8), and save percentage (.869). Skehan collected numerous accolades including being named: to the NCAA Division II Women’s Soccer All-America Honorable Mention as well as the Daktronics All-South Central Region first team and the All-LSC second team.
Previous School: Skehan last attended Navarro Junior College (Corsicana, TX) where she helped her team gain a national ranking of 8th in 2007 and 5th in 2008. She graduated with an Associate's degree.
High School: Skehan graduated from Klein (Texas) HS as the top ranked goalkeeper in the Houston area. During her sophomore year, her goalkeeping helped her team to the state tournament, and during her senior year, she helped the Bearcats make the all-State team. She was also a two-time all-District selection.
Personal: Skehan is the daughter of Robert and Eunice Skehan and has two siblings: Ryan and Erin. She is a Nursing major at West Texas A&M.
