Saw time in nine games under center for the Buffaloes in 2023... Completed 114-of-166 passes for 1,107 yards and 12 touchdowns to average 9.7 yards per pass and 123.0 yards per game... Also carried the ball 71 times for 334 yards and four touchdowns... Season-high 236 yards passing in a Homecoming win over Western New Mexico (Oct. 14)... Three passing touchdowns at UT Permian Basin (Sept. 23) and against WNMU... 123 yards on the ground with a touchdown at UTPB including a season-long run of 74 yards...

At Wink High School:
Four-sport standout at Wink High School (Texas) where he played quarterback and safety for the Wildcats under head coach and father Brian Gibson... First Team All-State selection while being named the Permian Basin Player of the Year as well as a Built Ford Tough Athlete of the Week honoree... Completed 160-of-206 passes during his senior season for 2,642 yards...
