High School: Prepped at Cherry Creek High School where Day helped lead her team to the state championship as a senior for head coach David Paynter.  She earned the varsity captain award.

Personal: Daughter of Greg and Janet Day.  Has two siblings, Neal and Caitlin.  Plans on majoring in biology at West Texas A&M.
