2022-23:
Brattain redshirted for the Lady Buffs during the 2022-23 campaign.

At Shallowater High School:
Brattain finished off a standout prep career at Shallowater High School as a multi-time TABC and TGCA All-State selection for the Fillies under head coach Chuck Darden. As a senior, she helped guide the Fillies to the Region 1-3A Quarterfinals. She was named the Class 3A TGCA All-Star Game Most Valuable Player as a junior, while claiming All-District and All-Region honors on the hardwood as SHS made a run to the Regional Finals. As a sophomore, Brattain led the Phillies to the Class 3A State Championship, being named the MVP of the State Tournament and the TABC Player of the Year. Brattain also excelled in the classroom as a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal:
Born October 29, 2003. Bree is the daughter of Chris and Shea Brattain and she has one sibling, Jalen. She is expected to major in Biology at WT.
