COACH MATTIO ON QUISENBERRY
"We were really patient with this position as we believe it is one of the most important spots on the floor for us," Mattio said.  "We were looking for a floor general with a high basketball IQ and are happy we found that in Baylee.  She is a skilled point guard who comes from a really good AAU program, SA Finest, and was coached by the very well respected Coach Ray Caldwell.  Baylee is an intelligent player who can run the show at point guard, score in a variety of ways offensively and we love her competitive drive and spirit.  She is a taller point guard who has the ability to score over opponents and be a playmaker.  Baylee will fit perfectly into our system and style of play as she is no stranger to understanding what it takes to win, comes from a competitive family as her dad (Chad Quisenberry) is the head football coach at Devine High School.  Baylee is a tremendous student in the classroom and we are excited to have her join the Lady Buff family."

She averaged 15.3 points, five rebounds and 5.6 assists as a junior for head coach Jim Sessions helping to lead her team to a 26-9 record...As a sophomore, Quisenberry averaged 16.0 points, 4.9 rebounds and five assists as the team went 23-14...She earned all-district and all-region honors and was the 5A Express New Player of the Week...Was second in her class academically earning the Principal's Award and was a academic all-disctric honoree.
