At College of Southern Idaho:
Riesen comes to Canyon following two standout seasons at the College of Southern Idaho where she pitched for the Golden Eagles under head coach Nick Baumert. She was an NJCAA First Team All-Region selection for the Golden Eagles during her sophomore season while also excelling in the classroom as a member of the NJCAA All-Academic Team.

At Bishop Union High School:
Riesen registered a standout prep career at Biship Union High School in Independence, California where she played all over the field for the Broncos under head coach Stacey Van Nest. She was named the Team MVP her senior season while picking up First Team All-High Desert League accolades.

Personal:
Born September 28th. Daughter of Christopher and Paula Riesen and she has one brother, Shane. Majoring in Sports & Exercise Science at West Texas A&M.
