2018 Outdoor: Finished 10^th in the 1,500-meters at the WT Classic & Multi running a seasonal best time of 4:11.84. He also finished sixth in that event at the West Texas A&M Invitational running 4:15.60. Ran a seasonal best time of 2:02.06 in the 800-meters at the same meet.
 
2018 Indoor: Finished 14^th in the mile at the Lone Star Conference Championships running 4:48.18 in the final. He also finished 18^th in the 800-meter running 2:04.68 in the prelims. Ran a seasonal best time of 4:35.74 in the mile at the Texas Tech Open.
 
2017 Cross Country: Competed in three meets as a redshirt freshman where he ran a seasonal best time of 27:48.6 over 8,000-meters at the Missouri Southern Stampede. He also recorded a 13^th place finish at the Buffalo Stampede in 28:33.7. Opened the season with a 43^rd place showing at the Texas Tech Open.

2017 Outdoor: Redshirt.

2017 Indoor: Finished 13^th in the 800-meters at the Lone Star Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships where he ran a seasonal-best 1:59.78 in the prelims. He also finished fourth in the 800m at the Grizzly/Buffalo Clash running 2:00.38.

2016 Cross Country: Redshirt.

High School: Graduated from Randall High School in 2016 where he competed in cross country and track and field for the Raiders. He was a four-year letter winner while specializing in the 800-meters, 1,600-meters and 3,200-meters.

Personal: Born on August 31, 1997. Son of Sean and Lisa Vanhuss. Has four siblings. Plans on majoring in education with a minor in physical education at West Texas A&M.
