2014: Did not compete due to injury.

2013: Competed in the 200m, 400m, 600y, 4x4 relay, DMR and javelin events as a junior. Led the Buffs DMR team to a first-place finish at the LSC Indoor Championships. Johnson totaled seven top-five finishes during the outdoor season and won the individual javelin title at the LSC Outdoor Championships where he helped the Buffs to a second-place team finish. He qualified for the NCAA National Championships in the event and placed 13th in the country. His top marks include 23.49 (200m), 51.04 (400m), 1:17.19 (600y) and 61.28m/201'-0" (javelin).

High School: Graduated in 2009 from Moore HS in Moore, Okla. State runner-up in the 400m and 4x4 relay. Also a three-year letterwinner in football where he played running back and free safety.

Personal: Son of Roger and Sharla Johnson. Born Nov. 2, 1990. Majoring in management at West Texas A&M.
