Biography
GENERAL: Slaughter plays wide reciever for the West Texas A&M football team.
HIGH SCHOOL: This multi-talented athlete played numerous positions for Coach Mike Speck’s Lubbock (Texas) HS squad. Seeing action as a cornerback, free safety, wide receiver and running back, Slaughter was a first-team all-District and honorable mention all-State selection in 2009, after making 81 receptions for 898 yards and eight TDs. He earned honorable mention honors following both his junior and sophomore seasons, as well. As a junior, he recorded 37 catches for 430 yards and three TDs, while he added 14 receptions for 98 yards and a pair of TDs as a sophomore. Slaughter also earned varsity letters in track & field and basketball.
