2019 Indoor:Competed in three meets for the Buffs highlighted by a third-place finish in the distance medley relay at the Lone Star Conference Championships. He ran a leg on the relay that scored six points in a time of 10:25.77. He also finished 15
thin the mile running a seasonal best of 4:35.84. Ran a seasonal best time of 2:00.91 in the 800-meters at the Indoor Gorilla Classic.
2018 Cross Country: Recorded a pair of Top-10 finishes as a redshirt freshman. Finished 30
th at the Lone Star Conference Championships running 27:21.9 for 8,000-meters two weeks after finishing sixth at the LSC Preview Meet at The Range. Finished 35
th at the South Plains College Cross Country Invitational and 240
th at the MSSU Southern Stampede after opening the season with a 5
th place finish at the Buffalo Stampede.
2018 Outdoor: Competed in three events at the Lone Star Conference Championships where he finished 15
th in the 800-meters, 14
th in the 1,500-meters and 26
th in the 5,000-meters. Ran 4:09.45 in the 1,500m at the LSC Championships. Ran a seasonal-best time of 1:57.34 in the 800m at the West Texas A&M Invitational. Finished second in the 800m at the WT Classic & Multi running 1:58.84.
2018 Indoor: Competed in three meets as a true freshman. Finished 12
th in the 800-meters and 13
th in the Mile at the Lone Star Conference Championships. Ran a seasonal-best time of 1:57.31 in the 800m at the LSC Championships. Was part of the distance medley relay that won the Texas Tech Open running 10:01.92.
2018 Cross Country: Redshirt.
High School: Graduated from Dimmitt High School in 2017. Claimed the Area and District Championship in the 800m on three occasions (2015, 2016, 2017) while also being a three-time District Champion in the 4x400m. Flores also lettered in basketball and football for the Bobcats, picking up Second Team All-District honors as a defensive back.
Personal: Born April 28th. Son of Joey Flores and Marcella Martinez and he has three siblings: Gavin, Megan and Stella. Majoring in Sports & Exercise Science with an emphasis in Health Science at West Texas A&M.
