2014: Huston competed for the Buffs primarily in hurdles events during his freshman season. His personal bests in 2014 included 54.68 (400m), 8.08 (55mH), 8.68 (60mH), 15.30 (110mH) and 56.58 (400mH). He had five top-eight finishes between indoor and outdoor competition.
High School: Graduated from Brownfield HS in 2013. Competed in the 110m hurdles, 300m hurdles and 4x400 relay. Was the district, area and regional champion in the 300m hurdles during his senior year and went on to place third in the state in the event. Also a district champion and regional qualifier in the 110m hurdles that year. His junior year he was a regional qualifier in the 110m and 300m hurdles and in his sophomore year he was a regional qualifier in the 110m hurdles. Was the track & field team MVP in 2012 and 2013. Holds the school record in the 110m hurdles (14.6) and 300m hurdles (39.25). Academic All-State selection in football in 2012 and in track in 2013. Also participated in basketball.
Personal: Born June, 2, 1994. Son of Heather Taylor and Chad Taylor (stepdad). Majoring in business at West Texas A&M.
