2013: Vidales competed in the 60m, 200m, 400m, 4x1 and 4x4 relay events as a freshman for the Buffs. He totaled four top-five finishes between the indoor and outdoor seasons. Led the 4x4 relay team to a fourth-place finish at the LSC Indoor Championships. His top marks included 7.20 (60m), 22:46 (200m) and 49.85 (400m).
High School: Graduated from Seagraves HS in 2012. 400m state champion. Made the all-state team in basketball. Also competed in football, baseball and golf. Earned the Mr. Seagraves HS Award for the best overall athlete.
Personal: Son of Cassie Shankliin and Edward Vidales. Has two siblings Tyreke and Andrea. Born March 4, 1994. Majoring in computer science and engineering at West Texas A&M.
