Mahmoud Massoud returns to the West Texas A&M Track & Field roster as a volunteer assistant coach.
Massoud competed for the Buffs during the 2020-21 season where ranked 16th in the national standings in the discus. His second-place finish at the conference meet helped WT claim the programs first-ever Lone Star Conference Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Championship and went on to earn USTFCCCA All-Region honors.
Prior to his time in Canyon, Massoud was the throwing coach for Qatar University for three seasons (2017-19) as well as an assistant coach for the Al-ahli club Qatar (2019-20).
He is currently working towards his masters in Electrical Engineer from West Texas A&M.
