Biography

Career: Appeared in 51 games with 38 starts. Logged 2,869 minutes. Recorded one goal, a game-winner, and three assists for five career points. Taken 10 shots, placing six of them on mark.

2015: Appeared in eight matches, starting three while playing 245 minutes. Played a season-high 90 minutes in the Buffs 4-3 win over Texas A&M-International on Sept. 5.

2014: Norton saw time in all 17 matches and made the start in 16 of them, logging 1,277 minutes on the pitch. He scored one goal for two points on the season. His lone goal was the game-winner in a 5-0 rout at Adams State on Sept. 14. Norton generated six shots, placing five of them on the mark, for a .833 SOG%.

2013: Played in 15 games while starting 14 as a sophomore. Logged 968 minutes. Had one assist and two shots on the season. Member of a Buffs' back line that produced nine shutouts on the year.

2012: Played in 11 games while starting in 5 during his freshman season. Had two assists during the season and took two shots. Tallied 379 minutes during the season. 

2011: Redshirt season.

High School: The local standout graduated from Randall (Texas) High School in 2011, playing forward for the Raiders under the guidance of head coach Matthew Driver. Norton is the all-time leading goal scorer at RHS and was a three time All-District 3-4A selection.

Personal: Norton is the son of Grant and Rhonda Norton and has three siblings: Dana, Kelci and Kresha. He is undecided on a major at West Texas A&M.
