High School: Lehner graduated from McNeil (Texas) High School in 2012, playing forward for the Mavericks. During his prep career, Lehner helped guide the Mavs to a State Championship game appearance.

Personal: Lehner is the son of Mike and Terri Lehner and he has two siblings, Kayla and Jake. He is undecided on a major at West Texas A&M.
