2017 Outdoor: Finished 10^th in the 10,000-meters at the Lone Star Conference Championships running a seasonal-best time of 33:17.28. He also ran a seasonal best in the 5,000-meters, 16:11.66, at the championship meet where he ended up 18^th. Opened up the season with a 10,000m at the Wes Kittley Invitational running 34:05.14 to finish third. Ran 16:26.95 over 5,000m at the WT Classic & Multi.

2017 Indoor: Finished 17^th in the 3,000-meters at the Lone Star Conference Championships running 9:19.08. He also ran the 1,600-meter leg on the distance medley that finished fourth in 10:48.84. Ran a seasonal best time of 9:18.03 in the 3,000m at the Grizzly/Buffalo Clash. Ran a seasonal best time of 16:16.49 in the 5,000-meters at the GVSU Big Meet Friday.

2016 Cross Country: Competed at the NCAA Championships for the second consecutive year finishing 210^th covering the 10,000-meter course in 34:15.0 as the Buffs finished 20^th as a team. Finished 116^th at the South Central Region Championships covering the 10,000-meter course at Washington Park in 35:13. Helped the Buffs win their fourth straight Lone Star Conference team title finishing 24^th at the LSC Championships in a time of 26:50.6. Finished 88^th at the Fort Hays State Open covering the 8,000-meter course in 26:18.4. Was the Buffs fifth runner at the OSU Cowboy Jamboree where he finished 38^th in a time of 27:20.6. Covered the 5,000-meter course at the Border Classic in 16:35.3 to finish 22^nd.

2016 Outdoor: Finished sixth in the 10,000-meters at the Lone Star Conference Championships running 32:34.94. Also finished 11^th in the 5,000-meters at the same meet running 15:47.82. Ran a personal-best time of 15:25.27 in the 5,000-meters at the Texas Tech Open. He finished first in the 5,000-meters at the Ross Black Open running 15:42.90.  Ran 4:14.05 in the 1,500-meters at the WT Classic & Multi to finish 10^th.

2016 Indoor: Finished seventh in the 5,000 meters at the LSC Indoor Championships in a personal-best time of 15:38.93. He also finished ninth in the 3,000 meters at the same meet narrowly missing scoring points for the Buffs. Ran a personal-best time of 9:32.34 in the 3,000 meters at the Buffalo-Grizzly Clash in Alamosa, Colo. Ran a personal-best time of 15:44.52 at the Pittsburg State Invitational in his first collegiate meet.

2015 Cross Country: Finished 190^th at the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships in Joplin, Mo.  covering the 10,000 meter course in 32:39.8. Finished 106^th at the NCAA South Central Regional Championships in a time of 33:34.2. Finished 19^th at the Lone Star Championships (8k) in a time of 26:49.8 while helping lead the Buffs to their third consecutive team title. Placed 139^th at the Chile Pepper Festival (8k) and 16^th at the Buffalo Stampede (8k).

High School: Graduated from Bruceville-Eddy High School in 2015, where he competed in the 5k in cross country and 1600m and 3200m events in track. During his senior year, he placed second at the 2014 UIL 3A Texas State Cross Country Championships. During his senior year on the track, he placed third in the 3200m at the 2015 UIL 3A Texas State Championships running 9:38.56. Personal best times of 4:37.75 (1600m) and 9:37.76 (3200m).

Personal: Born on February 17, 1997. Son of Richard and Lisa Allen. Has four siblings: Jessica, Jared, Cassidy and Chance. Majoring in mechanical engineering with a minor in mathematics at West Texas A&M.
