2014: Ybarra saw time in two matches and logged six minutes on the field in his first season with the Buffs.

Our Lady of the Lake: Prior to transferring to WT, Ybarra attended Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas. He played one season at left back under head coach Shane Hurley.

High School: Ybarra graduated from John Marshall High School in San Antonio, Texas in 2013. He played forward, left wing, and left back for the Rams under head caoch Josh Chapat. His senior season, Ybarra was a team captain and was named First-Team All-District. In earlier years, he was named Defensive Player of the Year and led his team to a bi-district championship. He was also a two-year member of the National Honor Society.
