High School: Garcia was named first team all-district all four years as a member of the soccer team and was also named Newcomer of the Year as a freshman. He also lettered one year as a kicker for the Kangaroos football team.

Major: Garcia is a Pre-Dental major at WTAMU.

Personal: Garcia is the son of Luz Vega and Rafael Garcia, and has five siblings, Ignacio, Rafael, Jose, Dora, Kelly.
