Junior (2014-2015)
With a solid sophomore season on the course and an impressive season in the classroom, Ethan is looking to pick up where he left off and continue his good play into the 2014-2015 Junior season…With his leadership on the course and in the classroom as his key points to his success last year we are expecting much the same for Peterson this season.

Sophomore (2013-2014)
Under a new coach for Petersons sophomore season Ethan had some outstanding results and was a model of consistency for the 2013-2014 season…Peterson played every event in 2013-2014… Fall- Opening up with WT’s home tournament…The 2013 Ryan Palmer Foundation Invitational Peterson would shoot what would be his first of many under par rounds for his sophomore year posting scores of 70, 74, 73=217… WNMU Fall Intercollegiate T59.. 76, 72, 79=227… The Territory Classic T17.. 77, 76=153… Bruce Williams Memorial Invitational T21.. 75, 75, 73=223…Spring- San Antonio Shootout T24.. 77, 77, 75=229… St. Edward's Invitational T35.. 74, 78= 152… Midwestern State Invitational T39.. 75, 76, 82=233… Mustang Intercollegiate with Peterson posting scores of 72, 69, 70= 211 T6 (career Low 54)… Peterson continued his strong play as he finished runner-up with a 7-under 135 (career low 36 and best finish) 68, 67=135…Earning Ethan LSC Golfer of the Week… LSC Golf Championships was disappointing for Peterson posting scores of 81, 91, 86=258 losing both match play rounds against MSU and TAMUC respectively... Although the last tournament left a sour taste in Peterson’s mouth, his sophomore year was a good one...Off the course Peterson has a 3.93 grade-point average in accounting being lone student-athlete from the Lone Star Conference to earn At-Large All-Academic accolades…  He was named LSC Academic Men's Golfer of the Year this season and earned LSC First team All-Conference honors.

As a Freshman Ethan Peterson opened his college career at WT with a solid round of 72 which would be his freshman year low score… Competing in 9 tournaments as a freshman… Fall- The Charles Coody West Texas Intercollegiate T49..72, 80= 152... The Territory Classic hosted by Cameron University Perterson fired 81,78= 159 T44… The Texoma Championship hosted by Southwestern Oklahoma State T57..80, 84, 79=243…WT’s Ryan Palmer Foundation Invitational tournament placed T78.. 78, 80, 78=236…Missing the Bruce Williams Invitational his only miss his freshman year… Spring- The St. Edward's Invitational 77^th.. 83, 80, 89=252…Taking team honors at The 2013 Midwestern State Invitational finishing T29.. 81, 75, 76=232…Far and away his best performance as a freshman T111..73, 74, 75=226 at The 2013 Mustang Intercollegiate hosted by Western New Mexico University… DBU Classic hosted by Dallas Baptist University T19.. 73, 79, 74=226… The Lone Star Conference Championship saw Peterson post another good finish capping off his Freshman year with rounds of 76, 76, 77=229 for 11^th.

High School: Played under guidance of Cal Fullerton for the Clovis Wildcats…Helped lead his team to the district championship and a third place finish at state...He earned all-district honors all four years and was an all-state selection all four years...Was the New Mexico 5A state runner-up from 2010-2012 and was district champion in 2011...As a senior, he had a stroke average of 73 and tallied 8 tournament wins.
