Junior (2014-2015)With a solid sophomore season on the course and an impressive season in the classroom, Ethan is looking to pick up where he left off and continue his good play into the 2014-2015 Junior season…With his leadership on the course and in the classroom as his key points to his success last year we are expecting much the same for Peterson this season.
Sophomore (2013-2014)Under a new coach for Petersons sophomore season Ethan had some outstanding results and was a model of consistency for the 2013-2014 season…Peterson played every event in 2013-2014…
Fall- Opening up with WT’s home tournament…The 2013 Ryan Palmer Foundation Invitational Peterson would shoot what would be his first of many under par rounds for his sophomore year posting scores of 70, 74, 73=217… WNMU Fall Intercollegiate T59.. 76, 72, 79=227… The Territory Classic T17.. 77, 76=153… Bruce Williams Memorial Invitational T21.. 75, 75, 73=223…
Spring- San Antonio Shootout T24.. 77, 77, 75=229… St. Edward's Invitational T35.. 74, 78= 152… Midwestern State Invitational T39.. 75, 76, 82=233… Mustang Intercollegiate with Peterson posting scores of 72, 69, 70= 211 T6 (career Low 54)… Peterson continued his strong play as he finished runner-up with a 7-under 135 (career low 36 and best finish) 68, 67=135…Earning Ethan LSC Golfer of the Week… LSC Golf Championships was disappointing for Peterson posting scores of 81, 91, 86=258 losing both match play rounds against MSU and TAMUC respectively... Although the last tournament left a sour taste in Peterson’s mouth, his sophomore year was a good one...Off the course Peterson has a 3.93 grade-point average in accounting being lone student-athlete from the Lone Star Conference to earn At-Large All-Academic accolades… He was named LSC Academic Men's Golfer of the Year this season and earned LSC First team All-Conference honors.Â
