Biography

GENERAL – This Pandhandle-area native joined the Buffaloes after transferring from Wayland Baptist.
 
2009-10 – Cogburn saw activity in seven games during the season. He grabbed a season-high two rebounds against Oklahoma Panhandle State and had a solo rebound at OPSU. At Midwestern State he registered one field goal and against UT-Permian Basin he snared a rebound. He had one steal against Southwestern Oklahoma and saw a season-high six minutes of action at Central Oklahoma.
 
AT WAYLAND BAPTIST – Cogburn saw action in 29 contests, making five starting appearances, while at Wayland Baptist. He averaged 1.9 points, 1.0 rebounds and 0.3 assists per outing while shooting 40.0 percent from the field.
 
HIGH SCHOOL – Cogburn attended Canyon (Texas) Randall HS and played on the same team with current Buff forward, Mason White. While with coach Leslie Broadhurst’s Raider squad, he helped lead Randall to the Class 4A regional semifinals while earning Golden Spread all-Star honors. He was selected District 3-4A Newcomer of the Year after transferring from Shamrock (Texas) HS.
 
Personal – Cogburn is a Biology/Science Education major at WTAMU, and is the son of Jackie and Ray Cogburn.
