2014: Played in 50 games with 47 starts for the Buffs...Hit .296 on the year mostly behind the dish...Had 53 hits with 12 doubles, one triple and led the team with six home runs...Slugged .475 and reached base at a .368 clip...Had 291 putouts with 38 assists and four errors for a .988 fielding percentage...Threw out 14 base runners on the year...Named second team all-conference...Had 14 multi-hit games while recording three hits four times...Recorded a season-high five RBI at Cameron.

Western Texas College: Played and started two years for the Westerners and played on WTC's first regional team in school history....Played behind the dish and designated hitter...Hit .341 with four home runs, 73 RBI, along with 22 doubles in 300 at bats in his two years at Western Texas.

New Caney High School: Earned honorable mention all-conference as a junior and senior and was a three year letterwinner for the Eagles.

Personal: Born August 11, 1992...Parents are Billy and Karla Caples...Plans on majoring in sports and exercise science at WT.
