2022 (Junior): Played in 45 games for the Lady Buffs with 45 starts... Hit .385 with 148 at bats, 47 runs, 57 hits, 37 RBI, 11 doubles, 10 home runs and a slugging percentage of (.662) ... Had a season high of three hits against UT Tyler (3/4), two doubles against Western N.M. (4/24), two home runs, four RBI, and one assist against Angelo State (3/14), three runs scored against St. Edward's (3/25), three stolen bases against Adams State (2/20), and four putouts against UT Tyler (5/6)...
2021 (Sophomore): Played a key role in WT’s run to the 2022 Division II National Championship… Played in 55 games for the Lady Buffs with 55 starts... Had 194 at bats, 58 runs, 84 hits, 17 2B hits, five 3B hits, 12 HR’s, 60 RBI, and a slugging percentage of (.758) ... Had a season high of five hits, four runs scored, and seven runs batted in against UC-Colorado Springs. (2/20), two doubles against UTPB (4/23), one triple against Eastern NM (5/1), two home runs against Central Oklahoma (2/28), three stolen bases against Western NM (4/25), one assist against St. Mary’s (3/28), and five putouts against Texas A&M Commerce (5/22) ...
2020 (Sophomore): Saw action in 18 games with 16 starts before season was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic… Led the league with nine home runs including a grand slam in her first plate appearance of the season against Hawaii at Hilo (2/13/2020)… Had a .240 batting average on 12 hits with a team-high .780 slugging-percentage… Had a .328 on-base-percentage with five walks… Fielded .967 on 30 chances with 24 putouts in the outfield…
2019 (Freshman): Salzman opened her career at WT with an outstanding freshman season as she played and started in all 47 games… She was named First Team All-Lone Star Conference and Second Team (NFCA) All-South Central Region… Was one of four freshman to be named Second Team Division II Conference Commissioner’s Association (D2CCA) All-South Central Region… Led the Lady Buffs in two categories with 59 hits and 50 runs… Was second on the team with a .369 batting average, 16 homeruns, 13 doubles, .763 slugging-percentage and 40 RBI… Recorded 81 putouts for a .988 fielding-percentage… Earned LSC Hitter of the Week honors (2/26)…
At Chatsworth High School:
Salzman comes to Canyon from Chatsworth High School in Northridge, California where she played centerfield for the Chancellors under head coach John Forgerson. As a senior in 2018, Salzman helped the Chancellors to the CIF City Championship with an overall record of 21-5 as she earned First Team All-League and Second Team All-State honors in the outfield. She also lettered in cross country at CHS while earning the Scholar Athlete Award three times.

Born August 8, 2000. Daughter of Marc and Sheila Salzman and she has two siblings, Jacob and Shane. Majoring in Biology at West Texas A&M.
