Biography

GENERAL: This sizeable, quick defensive lineman earned first-team all-LSC South honors after leading all WT linemen in tackles during his initial season with the Buffaloes.

2008: Marshall started 11 of 13 contests at nose tackle, registering 29 total tackles (9 solo, 20 assisted). He also had eight TFL[apos]s for minus-32 yards, two QB sacks for minus-21 yards, three pass breakups, a pair of QB hurries and a blocked kick. He enjoyed a six tackle performance against Midwestern State and twice logged five-stop outings - those coming at Texas A&M Kingsville (along with a sack for minus-seven yards) and against Abilene Christian. He also recorded a sack for minus-14 yards at Eastern New Mexico. He logged a season-high two QB hurries against Tarleton State, while having a pair of pass breakups in the Buffs[apos] NCAA Playoff contest against Central Washington. His blocked kick came against Azusa Pacific.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Marshall played two seasons at Tyler (Texas) Junior College. He totaled 43 tackles (16 solo) two behind the line, and one and a half sacks, earning first-team all-Southwest Junior College Conference honors following his sophomore season at Tyler in 2007.

HIGH SCHOOL: Marshall was a standout performer at Austin (Texas) McCallum High School. He was the District 25-4A Defensive MVP as a high school senior in 2005, finishing with 47 tackles, three sacks, four forced fumbles and three pass break-ups on a McCallum defense that held opponents to just 14.9 points per game.

MAJOR: Marshall is majoring in Sports & Exercise Science at WTAMU.
