Biography
2018-19 (Junior)
As a junior, Evans appeared in 25 games where he averaged 3.6 points per game going 31-of-68 from the floor, 8-of-28 from three-point range and 21-of-27 from the charity stripe in 9.5 minutes per contest. He also had 34 rebounds, 19 assists, 10 steals and four blocks. Reached double figures in scoring in four different games including a trio of 11-point performances against Science & Arts (Okla.), Colorado State-Pueblo and Western New Mexico. Made a season-high four shots against Western Colorado and Adams State.Â
2017-18 (Sophomore):
Evans appeared in 23 games as a sophomore in 2017-18 where he averaged 13.2 minutes per game scoring 6.9 points per game going 53-of-96 (55.2%) from the floor,17 of 43 (39.5%) from three and 36 of 41 (87.8%) from the free-throw line. He also pulled down 50 rebounds with 15 assists, 10 steals and a block. He scored in double figures in six games including a career-high 23 points against Western New Mexico on Jan. 27 going 8-of-11 from the floor and a perfect 5-of-5 from the charity stripe. Came off the bench to score 13 points in the Buffs Elite Eight victory over Le Moyne.
2016-17 (Freshman):
Evans had a breakout true freshman campaign for the Buffs in 2016-18 as the Chicago native saw time in 28 games and averaged 10.4 minutes per contest. Evans went 56-of-104 (53.8%) from the floor including 12-of-32 (37.5%) from deep and 38-of-50 (76%) from the charity stripe to go along with 39 total rebounds (1.4/game). He dished out 12 assists to go along with two blocks, 12 steals and 162 total points for an average of 5.8 per game. Evans scored a career high 22 points on November 22nd against Oklahoma Panhandle State in Canyon as the talented guard went 8-of-12 from the floor including a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line in a 105-66 victory.
At Thornwood High School:
Evans comes to Canyon following a standout prep career at Thornwood High School (Illinois) he played for Coach Paul Slavich. As a senior he averaged 15 points, five rebounds and three assists per game in the Southwest Suburban Conference. His strong performance this past year saw him earn All-Conference honors in one of the strongest conferences in the State of Illinois.

Born May 6th. Evans is the son of Leslie Wilson and Adina Evans and he has six siblings: Lakief, Shown, Daylen, Darius, Tashara and Taliyah.
