2017 Outdoor: Finished seventh in the shot put at the Lone Star Conference Championships with a throw of 15.20 meters (49-10.5). He also finished 11^th in the discus with a mark of 44.88 meters (147-3). Won the discus at the West Texas A&M Invitational with a throw of 44.17 meters (144-11). Had a personal best performance in the discus at the Wes Kittley Invite where he finished 10^th with a throw of 45.94 meters (150-9).

2017 Indoor: Finished eighth in the shot put at the Lone Star Conference Championships with a personal best throw of 15.37 meters (50-5.25). He recorded three other top 10 finishes throughout the season including a fifth-place finish as the Grizzly/Buffalo Clash throwing 15.07 meters (49-5.5).

High School: Graduated from Stratford High School in 2016 where he competed in the shot put and discus. He was a two-time state champion in the shot put. He was also a member of the National Honor Society. Lettered in football and basketball for the Elks.

Personal: Born on December 29, 1997. Son of Rockey and Stacy Stone. Has three siblings. Plans on majoring in engineering at West Texas A&M.
