2014-15 Season Stats
2014-15: Saw action in 22 games as a redshirt freshman. She went 12 of 31 from the field (.387), while draining four triples and went 11 of 16 from the line. She had 15 rebounds on the year with seven assists and four steals. Thiel averaged 4.4 minutes per game. She scored a career-high 12 points against Oklahoma Panhandle State (12/3/14) for her one game in double figures. Tallied a career-best four rebounds against Angelo State (1/14/15) and went 4 of 5 from the line against the Rambelles. Drained two triples against Harding (11/29/14) and saw a season-high 13 minutes of action against Northwest Nazarene (12/19/14).
2013-14: Was a redshirt.
Idalou High School: Attended Idalou High School where she played for head coach Wayne Johnson. As a senior she was District MVP and was named All- South Plains Player of the Year. She was a two-time all-state selection and earned TABC All-Region accolades. Helpeld lead her team to a 29-7 record. As a junior she an all-state and all-region selection and Offensive MVP for 2-AA.
Personal: Born December 30, 1994. Parents are Billy and Lynn Thiel. Has one sibling Evan. Plans on majoring in sports and exercise science at WT.
