Career: Cowling started in 30 of 33 matches while playing 2,470 minutes during his two year at WT. Finished his career with four goals and four assist for 12 points. He was named to the NSCAA All-Region Third Team as a junior.

2016: Started in 14 of 16 matches for the Buffs where he eclipsed the 1,000 minutes played mark for the second consecutive season. He played at left back and in the midfield during his senior season that saw him score one goal and three assists. His lone goal in a 4-0 victory over UT Permian Basin on Oct. 27 where he recorded a team-high nine shots, eight of those coming in the first half. He picked up his first two assist match of his career in the Buffs 5-0 win over Eastern New Mexico in the Heartland Quarterfinals on Nov. 1 at The Pitch. He finished the season with 22 shots with nine of those being on target for a .409 shot on goal percentage.

2015: Cowling started in 16 of the 17 matches while playing 1,398 minutes for the Buffs. Scored three goals and one assist including the game winner against UT-Permian Basin on Sept. 16. Was part of the back line that accounted for five shutouts throughout the season including three straight. Named NSCAA Third-Team All-Region.

Feather River College: Was named to the All-Conference team in both his freshmen and sophomore year under head coach Don Williams. Cowling was an integral in the success of the Golden Eagles defense and helped the team to the CCCAA playoffs.

High School: Graduated from Wadebridge School in 2001, where he played on the defense for the boy’s soccer team. He spent two years playing for Hartpury College, one of England’s top establishments for soccer and rugby.

Personal: Born on January 18, 1995. Son of Roger and Jane Cowling. Has one brother, Daniel. Majoring in business marketing at West Texas A&M.
